Circulation of buses

Regulation

It is prohibited to circulate, on all streets in the City of Pisa’s built-up area other than those identified as “bus transit corridors” to all buses with the only exceptions set forth in the current regulations. Therefore, the latter, in accessing the city, must compulsorily pick up the appropriate permit at the check point of the Via Pietrasantina interchange parking lot, compulsorily taking the following route Via Aurelia – Via Pietrasantina. However, in the case of online permit purchase, buses must first access the Via Pietrasantina interchange parking lot by following the aforementioned route. For overnight arrivals (between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.), the badge can be picked up after 8:30 a.m. always at the check point.

In the event that the bus should enter inside one of the city center ZTLs (only for group descent and ascent) controlled by active electronic checkpoints, in addition to paying the ticket at the checkpoint, it is necessary in advance, through the hotel, to communicate the transit by entering the data within the ZTL portal
